The winter break period runs from Friday 22 December 2023 to Tuesday 2 January 2024 inclusive.
Library and IT
Information Services will be keeping the library open over much of the festive period to support those students remaining near campus.

The Union
Our Students’ Union will be operating festive hours at Venue, Underground, the Union Shop and Union Offices.
These hours are as follows:

- Online shop orders (including period poverty products) will close at 4pm on Wednesday 13 December. Any orders placed after this time will be not be dispatched until return on Monday 15 January 2024.

Sport
The University sport facilities will have revised opening hours over the festive period but there will be plenty of opportunities to keep on top of your physical and mental wellbeing during the holidays!

Campus pharmacy
Our on-campus pharmacy will be operating on a reduced-hours basis.
From Monday 18 December to Friday 19 January, it will be open from 11am to 5pm, with the few following exceptions:

- Wednesday 27 December until Friday 29 December: 9am – 1pm
- Closed: Monday 1 January

Student Services Hub
The Student Services Hub will be open as usual until Thursday 21 December.
We will be open for live chat, email and telephone enquiries on the following days:
- Wednesday 27 December: 12pm – 4pm
- Friday 29 December: 12pm – 4pm
Usual services and times will resume on Wednesday 3 January.

Admissions
If you need to contact our Admissions Team, please note that the University will close from 5pm GMT Thursday 21 December and re-open on 9am GMT Wednesday 3 January 2024.
As a result, emails, telephone calls and social media messages will not be answered during this time.

Airthrey Park Medical Centre
Airthrey Park Medical Centre will be open as usual throughout the holiday period apart from:
- Monday 25 December – Tuesday 26 December: Closed
- Monday 1 January – Tuesday 2 January: Closed

Accommodation Services
The Accommodation Services Administration office, based in Willow Court, will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 and will reopen at 09:00 on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
From 7pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 to 7am on Wednesday 3 January, Accommodation Operations Assistants (AOA) will be based in the following buildings 24/7:
