While lots of you may travel away from Stirling during the holiday period, we know that some of you may choose to stay on or near campus. As the University will be closed from Saturday 21 December 2019 to Monday 6 January 2020, we have accumulated a list of all services available on campus during this period.
Library and IT
The Library will be opened according to the vacation opening hours below until 13 January, with the exception of Tuesday 24 December at 5pm to Monday 6th January at 8am, when the Library will be closed. The Library returns to semester hours on 13 January.

Whilst the library is closed there will be 24/7 study available in Cottrell 2Y5 (and printers available in Cottrell 2A18).
When the Library is closed, books can be returned via the book drop to the right of the Library entrance.
From the Portal, you will still be able to access your email, Canvas our eJournals and eBooks, A-Z of resources and Library subject guides.
Accommodation Operations Assistants
From 7pm on 24th December to 7am on 4th January Accommodation Services’ Accommodation Operations Assistants (AOAs) will continue to provide 24 hour cover to all residences and will be based in the following locations to support students, answer questions, assist with faults and maintain security:

AOAs will be conducting patrols and visits to all properties throughout the period and students can also contact Security on 01786 467003 if they need assistance.
Catering
There will be some changes to the opening hours of catering outlets across campus during the festive season. If you’re on campus during this time, please remember that the Stirling Court Hotel is open all day, everyday serving barista coffee to sit in or takeaway as well as tasty bar lunches. Other catering outlets are opened as follows:

Sport
When it comes to the Sports Centre*, festive opening hours apply from 24 December to 2 January, with standard opening times returning on 3 January 2020. The festive opening hours are as follows:
