Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Graduation 2024
On Thursday, 26 September, the University of Stirling held its graduation ceremony at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), celebrating our largest graduating cohort to date.
The University prides itself on its international partnerships, global learning and teaching, and the diversity of its student population. Stirling established its partnership with SIM in 2011 and saw the first student intake in 2012. The agreement sees students taught in Singapore by academic staff from Stirling. Students can choose from six courses and graduate with a University of Stirling degree. SIM is this year celebrating its 60th anniversary.
Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Gerry McCormac, attended the ceremony alongside the Provost and President of SIM Global Education, Professor Wei Kwok Kee, while Chancellor, the Rt Hon Lord Jack McConnell, officiated the ceremony and congratulated the new graduates.
A great story to come from this year’s graduation includes Chan Jingwen Vernice, 22, and her brother Chan Ding Sheng Vernen, 24, graduating with BA (Hons) Marketing degrees, and both having already secured jobs. Check out the full story here: https://bit.ly/gradstory_sim24

Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Sir Gerry McCormac highlighted the University’s recent successes and new developments such as the launch of the Strategic Plan 2030.

“This was by far our biggest and noisiest reunion to date! It was fantastic to see our graduates making new friends and connections. It was also lovely to welcome the new ‘class of 2024’ into our alumni community and I can’t wait to hear how their careers progress.”
