Congratulations! You’ve received an offer to study your postgraduate degree at the University of Stirling. Before you can start, there are a few things you need to do. This blog will help you make sure you’ve ticked all the boxes before your course begins no matter whether you have an unconditional or a conditional offer.
We need to know if you’re planning to join us, so it’s important that you accept your offer on the Application Portal. You can find the details of how to access the Portal and further instructions on your offer letter.
If you have a conditional offer or you’re coming from overseas, you will need to send us some additional information.
If you have a conditional offer, we’ll let you know what conditions you have to meet. These could include results of your undergraduate degree or evidence of English language proficiency. You may want to consider applying for a Pre-sessional English course. Our PSE courses are will help you to improve your skills to the right level for your chosen postgraduate degree right here on campus.
Overseas students may require a visa. You can find out if that applies to you on the Government website. If you do require a visa, we recommend that you apply as soon as possible to ensure you receive it in time. International applicants who need a Student Visa will also need to pay a tuition fee deposit.
