University is about finding your own path – but you don’t have to do it alone. At Stirling, we’re here to support your mental health and wellbeing so you can thrive.
Here’s how we can help you:
Student Services Hub
The Student Services Hub is your first stop for mental health support by helping you find the right services or giving you details about the support available during your studies.
Mental health team
Our mental health team is here to offer you comprehensive, specialist support. Whether you want to talk about your mental health or have a diagnosed condition, they’re ready to help.
Their goal is to make your student experience better by helping you manage how your mental health impacts your academic journey.
Counselling
Counselling is a talking therapy that can help you develop strategies and ideas to tackle your biggest concerns.
Whether it’s anxiety, stress, relationships, grief, or life changes, our friendly team of counsellors are here to listen.
Student support helpline
As a Stirling student, you have access to 24/7 Student Support – a free, wellbeing support line that’s available all day, every day.
You can get support with homesickness, stress, anxiety, low mood, loss and grief, relationship problems and more. And it’s all confidential.
Spaces to unwind
Your wellbeing is important. We have spaces on campus you can visit any time you need to unwind and recharge.
Check out the Loch View Wellbeing Suite – a tranquil space that’s open to all students, with books, art supplies, a snug area, sensory room, massage chair and more.
In the library you’ll find a dedicated relaxation area where you can press pause, browse wellbeing resources and take in the stunning views of campus.
You don’t have to face mental health challenges alone. Reach out to us – we’re here to support you every step of the way.
